In Loving Memory of Connie Wold
Connie Wold (February 16, 1963 - August 25, 2009) was a champion and inspiration for fitness in the Watford City area, where she lived with her husband, Cordell Wold, and their daughter, Molly. The Connie Wold Wellness Center is a tribute to her longstanding commitment to helping people start, maintain, and increase their fitness programs.
Connie Wold was instrumental in the establishment of the first workout facility in Watford City, Healthy Hearts Wellness Center, and taught fitness classes for over 20 years. Before then, she held wellness and fitness classes in the basement of McKenzie County Bank.
Throughout her life, Connie competed in numerous 3K and 5K races and marathons. She loved the Ironman Triathlon and fulfilled her goal of completing two Ironmans; she was training for her third at the time of her tragic death from a bicycle/truck accident in 2009.
Connie’s spirit lives on within the walls of Connie Wold Wellness Center, continuing to motivate people to strive for better health.
